Did anyone else notice and get a chuckle out of the cross pos t from Giz indicating that they should stop building new roads in the UK and globally?

I just think it’s funny it  landed on a car-centric site....seriously what are things coming to?

It is car relevant. I can't imagine an Atlanta without hopelessly ambitious road expansions instead if expanding public transit though.

Actually, the FP authors are generally pretty open about their ambivalence towards our car-centric society, and have often talked positively about closing roads, or stopping the infinite expansion of highways.

eh......i agree.... fuck new roads

tbh...the way the futures going more and more of us are going to be working from home

but there is still more and more of us...and we will need homes

i mean... this wouldnt be an issue if the world leaders followed my suggestion of shooting everyone over 60....but they wont coz ethics or some shit/...and here we are... short of houses and funds
